Influence
Understanding that no one can change anyone else, our classroom programs provide guidance, information and testimonials to influence the dads to make the life changes needed to be a dad to their kids.
We Help Dads is an Indiana nonprofit organization / 501 (c)(3), operating in central Indiana. Services are provided to fathers under its program Dedicated Dads.
Our Mission
“We prepare troubled dads to better understand their fatherhood role and then help them through the life changes needed to become constructive and fully involved dads.”

Our Programs
Understanding that no one can change anyone else, our classroom programs provide guidance, information and testimonials to influence the dads to make the life changes needed to be a dad to their kids.
Most of the men we help don’t have a basis of fatherhood in their lives—there wasn’t a dad to teach them. So we prepare the men to be a dad to their children through instruction and guest speakers sharing information from national fatherhood programs…and then measure what the men have gained from the classes.
When the men demonstrate a commitment to fatherhood and are free of any substance abuse, we help them connect and build their role as dads through legal assistance, job placement, social services coordination, and continuing mentoring.
Dad Stories
Dads who found a path back to their children through Dedicated Dads.
“My path through recovery has been a mission for me to be a dad to my son, Charley. Dedicated Dads helped me through every stage—working with the Department of Child Services, meeting my expenses, teaching me about active and responsible fatherhood, and just plain encouragement.”
Rick — graduating from Problem Solving Court of Madison County
“Dedicated Dads has changed my life. After spending many years just wandering, the classes gave me confidence and the knowledge to succeed, and then the mentoring helped me take one good step after another. I’ve got joint custody of my daughter and son, a really good job, I’m totally clean of substance abuse, and I can see a bright future.”
Ryan — father of two
“I was one of the first students in Dedicated Dads classes, and I’ve been connected to the program ever since. The classes helped me focus on the work I needed to do as a dad. Now, I’m proud to be an example of good fatherhood and talk to each of the classes to share my story.”
Shaq — father of 5
“After years of substance abuse, I found a new direction for my life in Problem Solving Court…and then Dedicated Dads helped give me the confidence and knowledge as a dad to be active in the lives of my two beautiful daughters. Today, I’m fully raising the girls, and feel great that I can share my story with dads in the Dedicated Dads classes who hopefully will find the joy I have.”
